It’s that enjoyment that keeps you coming back, keeps you burning calories and keeps you on track towards your weight loss goals.
Pilates is also something that it’s easy enough to do from your own home, though classes are fun to attend as well. And the amount of equipment needed is fairly minimal, so there aren’t a lot of barriers to racking up calories burned doing pilates.
Pilates doesn’t burn all that many calories, as you will see, but it’s an easy activity to keep up for a long period of time, so the method you want to strive for is low amounts of calories burned over a long work out period, rather than lots of calorires burned over a short, intense workout period.
